Some Things I'm Most Thankful For

My blogging friend, Jess, had a post with this title on her blog. I thought I would blog about the same topic.

1. Being a wife and mother. I am thankful that the Lord wrote this in to the story of my life. I absolutely love taking care of my husband, Halley, and soon to be twins! It's not peaches and cream everyday, but I know the Lord is sanctifying me through it all.

2. Having a wonderful family. My parents are celebrating their 34th anniversary today! How cool is that? They have been together since they were 16 or 17! Without them, I wouldn't have such wonderful siblings. I have 2 sisters, Erika and Joy, and a brother, Jason. I've never posted about my family, but I will put up a pic soon and introduce them to you.

3. Great Friends. Oh how I love them. It is so much fun to have Christian friends to walk through life with. My friends here in Montgomery are like family. I love that they point me to the Lord and are willing to challenge me. We have such a great time together.

4. The Bible. It is alive and powerful. It sharpens. It encourages. It is food to my soul. It enables me to know our God. It makes my soul sing! Amen and amen.

What are you most thankful for? You can also go to Jess's blog and read what others are thankful for in the comment section.

Oh, I love this post! We can always find post on how we disagree with others and our place of worship, how often do we find a post about what is pure, lovely, of good report, excellent.. I love it!

I am most thankful for my SAVIOR and HIS GRACE!! There is no way I can survive in this dying world with out either of them... I AM SO IN NEED of HIS GRACE EVERYDAY ( every second) and Oh how HE JUST LAVISHES ME WITH IT WHEN I ASK!

I am so thankful for my serving, loving, most affectionate hub! I am so unworthy of how he has loved on me for the past 61/2 years! I just told him today that I am in need of SO MUCH GRACE to love him as he has loved me, and I am going to try so hard in the strength of the LORD to do just that...

I am thankful for the gift to give birth!! SO often we overlook the fact that we can have kids, the LORD is indeed the open and closer of the womb!!!

Lastly, I am so thankful for my neighbors, who I thought I would be ministering to but whom the LORD has indeed used them to minister to me! I am so thankful for were kevin, Kaiya and I are as a family... I dont think for a minute that we are living a wasteful life! PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR THAT!!

excellent post tay!!

TIME TO STAND OUT FOR THE KINGDOM!!

Oooh, I agree with Nic that I am VERY thankful for the ability to give birth! What a neat thing it is to carry a baby (or two!) :) and feel them moving inside of us and have the opportunity to literally bring them into this world God made. WOW.

What a gift! Thanks for sharing your post- I enjoyed reading it. Isn't it sweet how God takes the "not peaches and cream" parts of our lives and uses them for good too? :)
